Hi I wrote in a couple opf months ago and was told to try an FHA loan. I have had some late pays on my mortgage related to health problems of my mother and my daughter. I tried an FHA with Watermark Capital and thought everything was a go but the nHe said that I had a late pay in 8-07 and that I would have to wait at least a year before he could help me. He wants me to wait until 9-08 but my balloon payment is due in 10-08. I don't know what to do. I can for the most part afford my mortgage payment but it doesn't leave money left over for emergengies and with the rising cost of evberything it is getting harder to make ends meet. I don't know what to do because if I can't get rtefinanced then I will lose my home. The government is trying to work things out for people with ARMs but what about people who were sucked into a balloon payment, with this economy it is almost immpossible for someone to get refinanced. PLease help.

You might want to try the hopenow hotline - they might be able to help you refinance with your current bank. Did you contact your current bank yet about getting out of that loan? If you find yourself with no other option other then having to wait until 9-08 make sure you have cleared up everything that could possible stop the refinance before that date. You dont want any delays.
